so many things have been going on the past few days that i'm exhausted.

so many mental challenges and barriers that i've to overcome. it sucks to be an.. adult. sucks to not be a teenager anymore. life's not so carefree. now you've responsibilities. ok, for now my definition of responsibility is not all about taking care of your family, kids etc but more of you being responsible for your own life. everything that you say counts. every step that you take is calculated, people are watching and observing what you tweet, blog and post on Facebook.

life, is like a drama series - people are watching, people are commenting and of course, people are acting.

from my experience in the past few days, it seems that in life, it is not the true story that wins; its the pack of lies that's carefully weaved into a convincing story that wins. packaging matters and so does persuasion skills. if you have the goods and you don't know how to sell them, who would buy? if you're persuasive and convincing enough, i'm sure people would even buy ordinary stones from you.

maybe i'm just too influenced by the HK drama that i've been watching - moonlight resonance, that i've been painting a negative picture of life. but unfortunately, i've seen similarities between real life events and what i've seen on TV. yes, TV is like a thousand times more exaggerated but the basics is there; the "good", the "bad", the "innocent, the "ignorant" and of course many other stereotypical characters we can think of.

i've learned this lesson many times, be wary of people. not everyone can be trusted or deserves your trust.

and of course, another very very important lesson.

you mingle with the right people and do the right things for/to them, things will go your way.

experienced that first hand. no wonder they said "what you give is what you get".

conclusion: never let your guard down.

HELLO I TURNED 18 (22) YESTERDAY!!! WHOOOO.

not a big blast birthday but i celebrated with my awesome friends meiling and fae! yay. the people who're always there for me. AWWWWWWW be touched hor. went to nandos for dinner (meiling, late as usual). MILD PERI PERI IS GOOD OK!! and we didn't buy a whole chicken cos i was selfish. HAHAHA.

gelare waffles after that. MINE WAS AWESOME cos it had 4 mini-peaches. :D it's good to spend time with friend whom you can depend on and talk crap with and willing to take pictures of me. HAHAHAHA. (and not upload. it seems).

and i'm damn disappointed cos some people didn't wish me. ok there's always this ONE person where you will always hope and wish for them to do something. and if they don't, everything's spoiled. you know i still haven't moved on right? or you're just acting dumb. idk, i miss you.

IPPT at 515 we reach at 4. so we slacked at mcdonalds near khatib.

omg ippt was SO funny. i did like NOT BAD LEH (in my opinion), save for my KNS pull ups. ONLY 4 SIA. if 6 at least not so bad. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A 6!!!! but the guy kept saying NO COUNT NO COUNT. and stupid machine also NEVER COUNT. #angstymuch

a hungry man is an angry man! so today, after school, i rushed all the way to town to meet lewis. and OMG, mother empty train. it was AWESOME!!!! it's like i can have sex on the train and pole dance and no one would give a shit (ok kidding, i've high moral values). and wtf, my DDDDDDD button isn't working. is it cos of my new 202 grade? HAHAHAHAHA. i kept pressing D in anger and now can't work properly unless i press it REALLY HARD (which i did, tyvm)

anyway, was bloody hungry so decided to go to.. ION to eat. omg WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. tried to order chicken rice at the bloody punggol whatevershit shop and it was a struggle cos the waiter can't understand english. he was from china and was being rude about it. i wanted to confirm regarding the extra drink order an he kept repeating "chicken rice" over and over again.

and he said he didn't understand. so i asked him to ask someone who could understand me. AND HE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. the malay girl at the next shop tried to explain to him but.. of cos it failed.

girl: eh u don't understand him ah? you can't speak chinese?

me: no leh i malay.
girl: ohhhhhhhhh...

and an indian guy from the main shop came to assist. thank god the matter was somehow cleared BUT BUT BUT the china man gave me fucked up service. he just threw the rice and chicken onto the plate and gave me the fuckface. this is the WORST week ever please!!!

so many things happened BUT... i was sick wtf. ever since my first ever trip to Universal Studios Singapore (USS for short), everything just went wrong in terms of health. i felt like shit on Sunday. oh by the way, watched the last ever HARRY POTTER movie: harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2. awesome shit (to me). SO SAD LA. but so much drama going on. prof mcgonagall is my most favourite character <3 WINNING LEH SHE.

ok anyway, went to the doctor on MONDAY. got two days MC. -.- had fever + flu and whatnot. went to school on tuesday cos of important 202 and 240 class. mother madness leh, this hong lao shi. can mispronounce MAGAZINES as MAHGAZEEENS one. then he mentioned this show called... 90212. HAHAHA 90210 leh!!

went to the doctor's again on WEDNESDAY. another 2 days MC. had to cancel study session + dental appointment (I HATE BEING SICK). and i had non-stop diarrhea, omg. damn sian please!!! had a hard time trying to study for 202 and too-for-tayyyyy (240). 202 mid terms was erm, fine? idk. plenty of mistakes i know ): 240 was ok. but 1 mark = 1% of the grade leh, madness or what whorrrr?

this is my life story as of now.

i'm missing the carefree days. where i slacked half my life away.

focusing on material possessions and whatnots. we lived for the

moment. we didn't give a shit about the future. sucks to grow up

man. surrounded by constant problems and responsibilities.

it's been 22years and i'm yet to get into a relationship. hah.

"it's better to be single". NOT if you've been single for 22years man.

constant heartbreaks and unhappiness does not make me a cheerful

tweeting is my number one hobby now. i spam every few seconds.

i remember those days during army where i would type out things

into my obsolete nokia phone and save as drafts. every friday i would

days before kids were corrupted by pop-music and reality shows.

and when guys still liked girls (vice versa) and not their own gender.

my life revolves around school right now. basically, i've no life.

i used to be a patient, fun-loving boy. but now i'm just a cynical bitch.

changed a lot since army days and JC days. i feel so BURDENED now.

i miss the chinese new year holidays.

it was the most carefree one week holiday that

i've ever had ever since i stepped into UB. no

group meetings, no assignments and no council meetings.

school's back and i dread every lesson.

got a disappointing 16/20 for CSE altho i studied.

HATE CSE TO THE UPPER MAXIMUM. anyway,

disappointment is based on expectations. and my

expectations are based on comparisons.

vday's coming and i'll be dateless. actually, i don't really

care since i'll be busy delivering flowers on the day itself

anyway (i'm an ANGEL :D). looking forward to the mass

waka-waka dance @ the atrium. UB PRIDE!

hello everyone and non-existent readers!!

would like to wish y'all a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

it's a new year and there's still no loved ONE in my life.

loved ONES, yes. loved ONE, no. i need to enhance my social

life. meet new people, get to know someone interesting, fall

in love. sometimes, you need to be OUT there to know people,

rather than just clicking random profiles on your phone.

anyway, i'm sick of school ALREADY. the people are interesting

but the modules i'm taking are KILLING me. and sucking out

the FUN in me. dry, calculation topics. history lessons. it's like

secondary school all again. just MORE BORING.

i'm having QUARTERM (quarter term) break now. cos of chinese

new year. so.. 1 week break for us. yay us! if only my family had

gone overseas, my life would have been more exciting. i'm so

sick of everything cos it's all a mundane cycle. i need to get out

and explore. find new possibilities and permutations to life.

and there's several bad experiences which i would like to erase.

but i just can't cos it's etched so deeply in my mind. back to december

by taylor swift is so traumatising now. too bad i'm feeling the way

first week of school was socially exciting but educationally

sucky. CSE lesson was bullshit. i know NUTS about circuits

and computer stuff. UGC was kinda interesting but it would

be better if it wasn't a tested subject. like, just learn for

general info. Comms 125 is ok, though it gets a bit.. technical

sometimes. the teacher's awesome.

soc294 stats is ok. but that's cos she's teaching us O level

maths and stats -.- which reminds me, i need a calculator.

SPRING 2011 FOC CAMP WAS AWESOME SHIT!!!
made new friends, be it council people, freshies or game
masters. it was an AWESOME experience and i'm glad
EVERYONE who went for the camp enjoyed it!

energy was high and so was competition, but it was all
in the name of good fun :D PANTEON OGs emerged victorious.
3rd place was OG9, 1st place was a tie between OG 6 and 7!
and OG6 only had 3 people!! really damn proud of them :D
they persevered till the end.

LAMPFIRE was kinda interesting. the performance was kinda
confusing but the freshies were damn creative to be able to
think of all the scenario. and it was time to spot eye candies HAH.
it was fun. and mass dance was CHAOTIC!! rather fun to see
everyone so cohesive and coordinated.

night was gossip session with the guys!! awesome shit HAHAHA.
gossiped about EVERYTHING + failed muthu's dare session (wahlao,
7 cards/person?!?!) . ordered mcdonalds + screwed up orders +
rachel's DAMN scary ghost story (..and she FLEW up. why? cos she's
a GHOST!.._) HAHAHA damn funny. and the bunk beds were kinda
cosy yo!

next day was inter house games!! cabbage ball was cool shit.
my favourite of course. and lotsa random videos. cheer competition!

it's been a very busy week.
what with spring 2011 orientation preparation
and all. ): a few more days and it's gonna be over.
then.. VALENTINES DAY PREPARATION!
(21years of being VDAY-less)

ok. WEDNESDAY was spent with my SPRING 2011
OGLs!! cos we had a (not so) dry run! fun and games @
pasir ris beach. lots of bonding with each other. they're
all so fun, enthusiastic and co-operative. really glad to have
all of them. heh, especially the first-time OGLs!!

weather was crazy. it kept alternating between rain and sun.
and cabbage ball was damn fun HAHAHA. should put chilli
sauce also. up the GROSS level! and so everyone got WET and
we had to run for shelter and get to the chalet which was..
NOWHERE NEAR THE BEACH. cabbed all the way to changi.
freaking ulu much!!! and we were ALL WET!! (and sick).

oh, we practiced mass dance!! so fun HAHAHA. i can't do one of
the moves. freaking paiseh much ): and BBQ was kinda sad cos
it continued to run. chin's gf helped us cook. so nice!! played
MUTHU'S DARE (HAHAHAH. we lied to jasrin that MD was
MUTHU's DARE, she believed. MD is actually monopoly deal)

the night was spent playing truth or dare and me falling asleep.
late night van drive to.. downtown east mcdonalds. HAHA all five+

spent my sunday spending raudah mcdonald's birthday
at.. (guess where). our surprise damn FAILs please.
first we hid at FATIN's house (and we forgot to keep
our shoes, so raudah TOTALLY knows we were there)
played MONOPOLY DEAL (latest addiction).

then we told raudah we were hungry and wanted to eat..
so we brought her to mcdonalds and SURPRISE!!!!
successful surprise! and everyone was there to surprise

NEW YEAR'S EVE + NEW YEAR WAS AWESOME!!!!

had the time of my life with the MRF groupies due to
an unexpected twist of events and 11:11 wishes coming
true. :D

met the groupies at marina bay MRT (ashiq got lost and
ended up at city hall -.- this one cannot read SMS one).
walked all the way to Marina Bay Sands (MBS). saw my
BMC "buddy". wah bad memories. HAHA. quickly left
the area. anyway, we ate at BEANSTRO (bistro version
of coffeebean's? = more expensive)

nice ambience, nice lighting, food looks great.
so we ordered etc (waiter looks like my friend *stares at bryan*)
and the portions were freaking small (except bryan's sandwich.
sounds the smallest but actually the biggest). and they didn't
even bother serving us the cutleries. maybe they're out of
waiters? hmm, rather bad experience there. (and overpriced.
i think the normal coffeebeans served better food, in terms
of price, quantity and quality).

they went to shop at banana republic and spent almost a thousand.
wtf (RAW price, faisal's terms. a.k.a before discount). and i think
it's kinda worth it. haha. shall not mention the price AFTER discount.
after like almost an hour in the shop, suang joined us and we were
still DAMN hungry. so we took a bus to suntec to find food. HAHAH.
good old comfort food = MCDONALDS!!

ok and then faisal got an SMS from his friend thattttt..
she has an extra room and we get to stay in it at a DISCOUNTED
price which works out to at least.. $30 per person. and so we said
YESS (!!) having connections and being shameless works well together.
(as long as you don't overdo it). and so we jumped at this "once in a
lifetime chance"

took a bus back (with only 40mins left and a FREAKING LONG JAM)
suang was sleeping and our plan to abandon him on the bus failed.
HAHAHAHA. ok, so we got there on time BUT BUT BUT *drama
moment* we couldn't contact his friend. so we spent the whole time
worrying cos.. it was only like 15minutes left!! thankfully, he
managed to contact her on time and we went all the way to the top!
(supposed to meet her on top)

us: uhm waiting for friend..

but then there were too many people at the entrance and we
somehow managed to smuggle our way in. HAHA DAMN FUNNY!!.
so like SPY movie sia!! and the person didn't even know. anyway,
was jam packed. awesome music. families were there, kids, old
people on wheelchairs. and it was nice seeing fireworks from
a higher view, overlooking the city scenery. IS LIFE AWESOME
OR WHAAAAAT??

so we had the "time of our life (dirty bit)" up there with the people,
camwhore-ing, looking beyond the infinity pool and imagine how
our future would be like (ok so exaggerate, we were just fully
internalising the moment hahah). so we left the area, ok,
ATTEMPTED TO but it was so freaking packed.

bryan taught a new word to a 5 year old boy.
the word is SLUT. thank god he didn't do the slutty hand gesture.
HAHAHAHAHA.. traumatised kid eh? suang left his BUTT imprint
on the (WET) seats. 2011 and he's still the same, old suang. future
lawyer hor? omg if his future employers read my blog later he no job. hahah

ok, so we took ages to get down cos everyone's rushing off
at the same time. bloody hell. a wheelchair even ran over
my feet. but nevermind, faisal's friend took us to OUR ROOM!!!!
and not really an excellent view (it's the back view, the future
GARDENS BY THE BAY - under construction)

ok, so we were supposed to meet jason at brewerkz for chillax
session. MY MONOPOLY DEAL SO FAILS. didn't get to play
at all ): omg, i was SO HIGH cos i was FREAKING TIREDD.
kept talking nonsense and swaying around like a drunk person.
HAHAHAH i don't need alcohol to get high sia, just need lack
of sleep. :D save $ also (cheapskate.com).

so on the way to brewerkz, jason told faisal that he coudln't
make it. word of the day: CHLAMYDIA!!! so we continued
our journey (so FAILS). ended up at esplanade and we walked
back after buying chips and popcorn. HAHAHA. almost typed
PORN. lol.

at the room, we watched random shows and started laughing
at random things, switched off toilet lights while suang was
bathing.

us: HAHAHA MAYBE?? isn't it either yes./no??

4am and we were still joking around, reminds me of good
old army days. oh, it's been a year already. shit, can't remember
what other jokes there were, love cakes etc. :D :D

woke up in the morning and went to skypark!! awesome
view of SG please!! and there was a magician and he showed
us tricks. weird accent and i told him to try to make suang
disappear. HAHAHA.

ok, i want to go to the pool one day ): too bad we didn't have a change
of clothes please!! or else we could be suntanning our lives away please.
ok this entry sounds boring but it was really a surreal and fun
experience. my memory is distorted so i may have missed out some events.
hahaha.

hello everyone.

it's already new year's eve.
how fast the year has passed.
2010 to me, was a year full of change.
change of mindset, change of friends, change of
many things. despite so many things happening,
i felt that it was a rather boring year.

change 1: working at CPF
the year started with me trying to find a job that
was going to pay me $10 an hour but unfortunately,
i didn't get any. instead, i got myself a no, not $8 job,
but a measly $6/hour at CPF tampines as a customer
service assistant (or whatever). i thought i would
be having a desk job + computer + room but oh boy,
how wrong i was. yes, i had like 10 computers (elobby)
to myself. not only that, i had to handle hundreds
of grumpy customers daily and stand from 8am to 5pm -.-

of course there's always a positive side to everything,
i made AWESOME friends there. they were the only
motivation for me to work (eat ayam penyet get diarrhoea
still want to come to work..). i made friends with a 16year old
boy who's pay is 30cents higher than me (so much for
qualifications). i met a bitchy minah with a big butt who's
english is damn pro. i met a permanent temp who has
worked there for ages and i met another bitchy girl who
is damn bitchy also and passed driving earlier than me -.-

the people mentioned above were leroy, elyana, evangeline
and angie and they have been awesome people. i really
enjoyed the moments in CPF thanks to them and also the
nice permstaff (: and i met my "childhood" friend leanna there
also. cool shit! happy work times.

change 2: getting into a school
and so, i got into a school. UB at SIM. no, it's not University
of Buffalo, it's University AT Buffalo. was rather half hearted
when i got into SIM and damn pissed with myself cos
i screwed up the NIE interview. anyway, made random friends,
got myself a clique and i had fun during my semester there (hence
horrible GPA). eventually, i resigned to my fate, SIM-UB was where
i was going to spend my 3 freaking long years in.

and oh, not only that, i also realised that i fulfilled a new year
resolution that i made a year ago - to get into a school.

FLASHBACK OF 2010 RESOLUTIONS!!

1) hope couples i don't like break up. if they don't,
assist them. HAHAH :D

4) GET A SCHOOOL MAN! and join some super
cool CCA in school. and booms my social life.

ok. 1 and 4 came true so yay. the rest all so FAILS!!!
even my friends have left me. -.- anyway, i decided that
i was going to have more balls and be more shameless.
so i joined floorball for.. 2 sessions. (HAHA). but i was too
lonely and training was so late so i quit. in the end, i decided
to join a cooler CCA so i joined SIM-UB student council (ok, not
really cos it's cool. but cos i wanted to join in CJ but got no
ballsz).

anyway, despite UB being University at/of Bitchiness and all,
i guess i'm really comfortable and proud to be inside cos it's
such a small community and everyone knows each other.
so i guess that i made the right choice in screwing my NIE
interview (yah, like my choice like that) and choosing UB.

nevermind that i'm not in a local uni, as long as i'm enjoying
what i'm doing and that i'm more passionate in what i do,
that's all that matters i guess?

anyway, i met nice, helpful seniors there, made nice friends in
music class (even got BEAST showcase tickets from some),
made more minority friends (hello jasrin sarah manisha chitra
priya etc), became an OGL (see, grow balls already) and etc.

change 3: MY FRIENDS ARE GONE!!!
anyway, most of my friends have abandoned me cos they've
all gone overseas. e.g bryan, geordie, yi mei, biqi (gone for three
times already). so i now have to rely on skype + social networking
sites to keep in contact with them.

change 4: I TURNED 21!!!
ok, so maybe my party wasn't the most happening party but
it was great to see all my close friends there. i think after i turned
21, i became a boring person already!!! i lost my youth on the second
of august! tsk. (oh same day as music and COMMS exam, both got
B. FML). anyway, i guess my balls grew bigger (figuratively and maybe..
physically. idk, i don't check) when i turned 21 cos i tried
things which i knew my less than 21 yo self wouldn't.

change 5: change in mindset
what i've learnt in school has changed my overall view of life.
to be open to all possibilities and to be prepared for change.
i guess PSYCH 101 has been a really useful module cos it
made me understand more on what it is to be human. ok
so did SOCI 101.

i've learnt that despite hurdles and disappointments, i STILL
have to move on. i shouldn't stop moving and just wallow in
self-pity. i should be strong and push all the negativity aside.
if someone hates you, so what? there are still others who love you
(ok, maybe not LOVE lah. there are others who are.. OK with you)

if things don't go your way and you're heartbroken, just
take it with a pinch of salt (and throw it back at the person).
remember, LIFE GOES ON!!!

so there my friends, that's my 2010. full of changes. despite so
many things happening, i still find it.. boring. i don't know. maybe
i didn't get to do the fun things i wished i did. maybe things are
happening too fast that i can't keep up? i don't know. no matter what,
let's all hope that 2011 will be an awesome year nonetheless. (:

spent yesterday in school for Spring Orientation
Preparation (SOP). got to know who the OGLs were
and we split up into our teams. rather glad that the OGLs
from my house were very enthu and RAH RAH! hope all
goes well and we'll win best house =p

today's afternoon was spent "nua-ing" at home. hahah.
"nua" is a word i learnt from twitter, i believe it's to replace
the word slacking or lepak-ing. hahah. somewhere along the
lines of being lazy and doing nothing. nice weather and cuddling
under the sheets of my blanket (alone, with my pillow) until
my mum called and asked me and sis to join her at bedok point.

joined her a while and met HALAL CLIQUE at tanah merah,
walked to simpang and TANG TEA HOUSE for dinner. haha
had a hard time choosing what to eat. ): western VS chinese.
in the end i had a mix of both, tee hee. and scary cat kept staring
at us ): didn't know jasrin's scared of cats too.

went to tampines after that to play MONOPOLY DEAL!
latest hobby to increase memory skills + scheming techniques.
HAHAH. this is a true test of friendship please! jasrin won 4,

ok, so i managed to upload photos. and the T key
on my laptop is being a bittttccch. sometimes it will

with my LOVED ONES (mother + sister) at swensons.
yay to coit tower and a very FULL-filling lunch. wahlao,

got myself a uniqlo oxford shirt. been eye-ing it forever to
pair with my khaki pants. HAHA yeah, i wanna blend in with
the masses. :D and i need a dye job. ): my hair's turning BLACK.
however, black seems to be the in-colour nowadays leh.

the person who said once you go BLACK, you can't turn back
must have been using HENNA to dye his hair. (ok random).
cos i tried dye-ing my hair black with HENNA (jc days) and it
was so hard to dye other colours after that.. so if you wanna dye
your hair black, use HENNA. very effective and CHEAP. less than
5bucks i think?? and SO EASY TO DIY!!

and got myself a cotton on polo-T. been eye-ing it for ages also. HAHA
thankfully it fits well without me trying (: happy boy right now. (although
very hungry right now ): ) and HAPPY BOXING DAY!!!

i spent christmas eve with a new friend at jurong point watching
"MEET THE PARENTS: LITTLE FOCKERS" crude jokes galore,
but it was a really entertaining movie. jessica alba was smoking hot
though slightly psycho. and omg, i tried to buy something at watsons
and my POSB (i had a typo and ended up typing POSH card on twitter/
facebook. FML x 2) card got DECLINED!! TWICE!! so malu ): my friend
had to pay for me. HAHAHA

and i checked my ATM card and i realised that i had only

spent wednesday sending my aunt off to the airport
+ secret recipe BREAKFAST (my 3pm breakfast.
poor hungry boy). met up with NAMELESS @ bugis!!
went to VICTORY MURTABAK for dinner! yay gossip
session and alia SOOO made the place her own.

walk around the place, put the bag at random tables and
used the plug to charge the phone. very good this girl!
still can drop iphone on the dirty toilet floor!!!! anyway,
queued up for KOI!!! yay hazelnut milk tea (my only fave,
well, the only one i tried). ran around the iluma koi spot
to avoid cockroaches.

escaped and seek refuge outside NLB. HAHAHA. monopoly
deal-ed like nobody's business. it's really rather addictive
(if you're feeling lucky and winning). LOL. poor shairah.

hello.

i feel SO much better now. disclosure really works cos
it gives me a sense of.. catharsis. anyway, went out
with meiling just now. wah, she's like 1hour late please.
thank god i took my own sweet time. we had a hard time
deciding WHERE to hang out cos.. we had no plans.

GONG CHA! (key word of the day, although we bought
none. hahah). so we ended up going to orchard cineleisure
(we're too old for this place) to watch RAPUNZEL, but seats
were sucky so we ended up watching NARNIA instead. wasn't
disappointed with our choice because it was.. AWESOME!!!

it was so full of suspense, adventure and it takes us away from
the real world. (although some parts are very dubious and LOL-worthy).

character: we are reaching aslan's (the lion) country!
me: singapore ah? lion city..

and there were "dementors" look-alike, dumbledore (HAHA) and
the mystery of how aslan can save the world by scratching the snow
three times. imagine if he was scratching his ass, i don't know what
else he could save.

and there was a puma (and others) sale at orchard cineleisure.
they were selling onitsuka tiger shoe (only one design and colour)
for 60bucks. rather.. cheap but i didn't like the base colour.
i prefer the girl's shoes though. HAHA the designs are so much nicer. ):
i should try eating BEST FRIES FOREVER soon! :D looks yummy ):

daiso-ed after that and simpang + camwhore with meiling.
yay so fun :D my kebab took one hour to make please. they forgot
to put it on the bill and i smartly asked them why (in the end
have to pay but.. integrity lo!)

Dear Readers,

i just need to vent my anger. frustrations.
disappointment. confusion. mainly fear.
i know blogging and publishing to the world
regarding my feelings may not be the right thing to do
but i guess this is the only way i can release my
emotions.

of course there are friends for me to confide in,
but sometimes in life, there are taboo topics that
you wouldn't want to burden my friends with.
i know they are helpful and all and want to make
me feel better but i think it's better that you all know
that i AM experiencing some problems with my life
but i'm sorry i can't go into details about it or confide in you.

i may be happy and all externally but internally it's
not all good. i would appreciate if you would keep your
comments to yourself and not say it out loud to me.
just for these few weeks, or months. i really don't
need additional burden or stress in my life.

i hope that you don't think that i am selfish or what
but i hope you all will respect my decision. this is my first
personal and heartfelt entry that i've ever written on this
blog cos i can't keep my emotions pent up anymore. here goes..

there's so much family drama that i don't know what
to do, where to run, who to run to. it's irritating
how helpless we are, how stubborn you are and just
pretending that we never exist. i'm so sick of all these
and it sucks how you choose your friends over us.

you're not that kind of person. we have sleepless nights
and constant worries of how everything will be like.
we're afraid of the consequences that WE have to face
due to your selfishness. it sucks when we are the ones
being accused of being the "evil" ones when it is obvious
that YOU are in the wrong.

you believe a stranger's words and turn against us, your
own flesh and blood, accusing us of doing things that we
do not do. i can stand all those words and accusations but
do you think it's unfair for the rest of us? you don't listen
to us, people have tried talking to you but you're just so..
stubborn.

sighs. we have run out of words to say. it's up to you to
make your own decisions and how you want to lead your
life. after all, it's YOUR life, we never were a part of the
decisions you make. you're just putting the blame on us
for every wrong decision you make. we are really very
disappointed in you and we're all running away from you.

let's hope you realise how important this whole fiasco is
and that you would realise the importance of family
and those who actually care, not those who are out to
ruin you, those who take MY mother's car and do whatever they
want to it, those who THREATENED to punch me for
being "rude" to them, those who ACCUSED me of stealing

HELLLO I AM SO HAPPY (kinda).
ok, happy cos of 1) RESULTS and 2) i bought
my khaki pants!! :D :D therapeutic shopping yo!

ok, so checked UB learns since esl408 and comms217
results were up! was quite happy with my A for 408
but disappointed with 217. B+!! cos of that 0.5% i think.
urgh. pissed off. ):

oh bumped into letchmi in bugis!! so small world. and i
thanked her for my results. she told me only 2 people in the
class got A!! wah damn ego boosting i swear (i told my mum
and she asked me "got how many people in class, 3 ah?" so supportive).
met najib and we went to bugis village. got the pants i wanted
so much!! SO HAPPY BOY NOW :D 49.90. cheapest of
all i've seen so far.

sat outside some random lift like some old uncles and bryan
joined us after that. WAHLAO. wear same clothes, shorts
and shoes please!! PAISEH MUCH. blue tshirt, khaki coloured

seng but bryan was craving for NASI LEMAK so we went to

had a study session with wani and shida
at paya lebar mcdonalds just now. freaking
funny. kept making lotsa random jokes. and yay

i'm so sick of mugging although it's become part
of my daily habit. wake up, mug, LATE NIGHT
PHONE CALLS and sleep.

hahah, late night phone calls has been part of
my schedule and i'm liking it. anyway, i like studying
at SMU cos the MRT is so frickin' convenient. bras
basah, walk a bit and "TADAHHHH..!!!' study area!!
very very good (minus the distracting eye candies part).
every few seconds i have to keep turning my head round
and round and roundddd. like selena gomez's round and
round.

ok that's a lot of ROUNDS that i've typed. anyway, yesterday
i studied ALONE at NLB. the high stool chair that i sat on
DROPPED ON THE FLOOR and that totally shattered
the silence and everyone stared at me. so i had to give
my "act cute" face and walked out of the study lounge with
whatever dignity and pride i have left.

OHHH AND I BOUGHT THE $3 MCDONALDS TOY.
SO CUTE :D :D :D looks like me, specs and stripes
hamburglar yo!! celebrated my father's birthday at

during the ride home.

are we so determined to let the whole world know what's going
on in each other's lives that we have to publish it over the net?

what happened to the personal touch of communication?
since face to face communication is almost impossible (for some),
i guess sms-ing each other should be the next best alternative?
it's more private, individualised and.. personal i guess?
facebook IS useful but i guess we need to have limits and not
get hooked onto it and spend time "camping" there.

i'm afraid i may get hooked to facebook again but i'll try
my best NOT to be dependent on it. also, staying off facebook
has somehow made me appreciate the people around me more
(since you've NO freaking idea what's going on in their lives
w/o the use of facebook).

anyway, i'm still not back on twitter. but it's good that
i managed to stay away from it. when you tweet multiple
entries, people accuse you of spamming. but when you blog
multiple times, no one gives a shit. hahah. anyway, your many
tweets form one story. so might as well blog one time good one, yes?

OK, of course there are pros and cons to everything.
i'm just presenting my own thoughts and experiences
regarding my 3 days of no social networking sites.
everyone has their own stories to tell. so why not try to
test yourself and try to stay away from facebook or twitter? (;

P.S: i'll try to reduce time on facebook!!! i'll try to tweet less
and spend more time with my friends (OR STUDIES).

doing well i guess. i feel so tempted to E-MAIL my friends

anyway, woke up DAMN early to go to the skin centre.
had a DAMN BAD tummy ache please. and square 2
has such complicated architecture. i've go through
many turns and rounds just to get to the toilet. THANKS AH!

anyway, registration etc was so fast! very efficient (or maybe

woke up rather early today to STUDY!!

i have neglected blogging so badly and i've been
busy TWEETING my life away and spamming my
facebook with photos and wall comments.

essentially it seems that a blog is broken down into
two: twitter + facebook. twitter for me to update the
whole world on my whereabouts, my feelings at that
point of time etc. somehow, it is a more accurate reflection
of my feelings than my blog (which is a compilation of my
day's feelings).

and i'm too lazy to update pictures cos everything is on FB
anyway right? urgh, whatever. i wonder how celebrity bloggers
(e.g xiaxue, i only read her blog) have the energy to continuously
update their entries with pictures and whatnot. salute them man.

and watching glee has made me so.. emo. idk why also.
i'm such an emo kid nowadays. exam stress? ohwells.
anyway, maybe i should just stay away from these social

there are several things i want to blog about but i feel that
i can't. no matter what, there are still things that you have

ONE MODULE DOWN!!!!
another one will be down and i'll have 2 modules left!
exams on 14th and 15th and HOLS!!!! but next week
shall be RECESS WEEK (study break). urgh. why

i used to have this passion - blogging.

nowadays, it seems that the passion is slowly diminishing and
i haven't been able to update as frequently as i wanted
it to be.

i use my blogs as "memory storage space". since i have
very poor memory, these blogs of mine will be able to
preserve them and enable me to recall the happy times
that i have experienced over the years. i like reading my
old entries and reflecting on past experiences - whose
birthdays i celebrated, what i ate, who i was angry with etc.
my blogs tell my life story.

nowadays, i am so busy with school. i have quizzes every
now and then and i've no time to hang out with my fellow
friends. i spend my time revising, i feel like an uncool full-fledged
geek yallz. but i'm trying to work hard to get A's and a 4.0 GPA.

when i reflect on my past, i miss the good old days.
i've always regretted not studying harder in JC - i could
have gone to a local uni and have fun. i miss being carefree and
being below 21. it seems like a totally different era together.
21 just sounds old, as if i've to be more mature so as to
fit the "21 years old" mould.

anyway, my life is quite mundane.
it's a repeat 24/7 cycle of same things for this sem.
class ends at 1.30, i study, go home, online, sleep.
and class starts at 8.30 blablabla. i was in floorball for 2
days and quit cos it clashed with my schedule. i've
recently signed up for COUNCIL and i REALLY hope
that i get in, with hopes that it'll brighten my oh-so-mundane life.

i feel as if my friends are slipping away.
sometimes i feel like i can't trust people. everyone seems
to have hidden intentions behind their smiley faces. they are
all so scary and manipulative. i miss my comfortable friends -
people whom i can talk about anything with. everyone seems so
busy with their own troubles now.

one thing to note: i DISLIKE pessimism. i hate people who
whine non-stop about small issues and act as if the whole
world revolves around them (not like i don't do that.. but
not SO extreme). i bring joy and optimism, but only if my
friends reciprocate.

and i'm also very pissed with people who conjure lies and
fake stories to spice up their lives. please be yourself.
i can see through your lies and plasticity.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.

school has started and it's a bitch.

8.30am morning classes = me zombie-ing around.
barely awake and i was high for the first 3 days of school.
no idea why. must be cos i was too sexcited for school.
meeting all my sem1 friends, ub freshies, uol and rmit people :D

esl 408 is a major pain in the ass. the teacher's nice and
she's like a small kid. she gets excited very easily.
the class is rather sad though. only 6 of us are comms freshies and
the rest are seniors (when i mean seniors, it means that they
will graduate in THAT sem. yes they're THAT old).

so it was a rather diverse mix of kids. sian.com
i miss the other COMMSters ): and the teacher knows my
name (vice versa) cos i used my phone in class. omg,
my participation points will be deducted. I HOPE NOT!!

and PSYCH 101's fun. well, reena's kinda interesting even
with her hypnotic voice. her stories are all interesting
and so's HELLO WORLD. HAHAH he's not my brother ok!
don't judge peopke! tsk.

comms217 is just OMG. half the time i don't even understand
what he was talking about. and he's from UB - the main one.
it's quite irritating when he assumes everyone knows what he's
talking about (sorry not everyone knows american history).
and i don't think i picked up anything from the lecture.

comms 225 was another OMG. our first lesson was only half
an hour and the teacher let us off cos first lesson starts on
second session. so i woke up so early for nothing -.- the next
lesson she taught us how to spell BARRIER. yay. now we're smart
uni kids -.0

it's great meeting old friends though.
and i hope BCF's fine. attended her dad's funeral on monday,
my first catholic funeral. i hope she and her family are fine
and that they stay strong no matter what. may her dad rest
in peace.

and fall 2010's here. whoo. new school term. no new clothes,
new friends (probably??). i'm nervous. kinda worried about
getting my 4.0 GPA. hahahah.

FALL 2o10 ORIENTATION WAS AWESOMEXZ!!

i had an awesome time being an OGL with my HPY
(hao peng youz) delia and also the other OGLs and
game masters. truly an interesting and refreshing
experience.

woke up damn early in the morning to get to
school by 7am. was early. wow. did preparations
and last minute nail painting by barbarella. my nails
looked as if it has been painted on by.. liquid paper.
white house mah.

and soon freshies started coming and all. was quite
demoralised cos my OG seemed empty.. but soon
almost everyone was there and i realised that me and
delia couldn't cope. everyone suddenly came up and
started giving excuses on why they couldn't attend
the camp etc. WAHH, was quite pissed.

they had their talk while the rest of us camwhored
outside. lunch time was a mess. 270 people in a small
crammed area. my OG was split up into 4-5 groups -.-
anyway, had bonding session. i am damn failurezx.
idk how to bond all of them together ): ice breaker failz.

slowly got to know their names. was left with.. 17 kids.
16 girls and 1 guys. i was rather intimidated but i realised
that they were all nice :D although rather dead at first,
they were very cooperative as the day progresses.
loud cheers + team spirit + sporty girls = WHOA!!
respect them man!

the body parts game was DAMN UNGLAM CAN!!
that stephanie sabo me and i had to play also.
ended up getting dirty with flour and random concoctions
on my body parts. even had to carry a freshie. HAHAH

campfire was utter malu-ness. HAHAHA we didn't even
know what our skit was about. confidence 101. so much
for impromptu performance. night walk was AWESOME!!!
thankgod it wasn't a 2 people thing. partnered with three other
girls and it was all screaming and tugging each other. LOL.
we had ghostly nuns, schoolkids, nurses, toilet ghosts, the joker.
woah, it was one hell of a night walk!!

plus 3 screaming girls with me. HAHA BEST! rather sad
that 2 of them left halfway. they were really fun people.
anyway, dragged on till 2am++. supposed to NOT sleep,
chatted in the canteen. ordered mcdonalds breakfast and
ended up falling asleep while the psych people were playing
cards. woke up and realised that they disappeared HAHAH.

so malu. but was too lazy to find them so i went back to sleep.
woke up all cranky and zzz with backache. serves me right for
sleeping on a bench. was damn windy sia. ok, after breakfast
was inter OG games. wah damn fun. captain's ball, hoola hoop
water bombs, guess the name game and pacman. WAH the pacman
one was killer sia.

hurt my toe and it bled like i was having my period ):
not that painful luh but it hurts a bit when i walk.
thank god the council president was nice. :D oh, someone
saw me and pat my head. DAMN RANDOM but i like.
HAHAHAHAH. like puppy like that, who cares.

water bomb war was fun x 293823. lotsa action and
drama. congrats to jolene's OG for winning best OG!
hahah. OG 3 didn't win but i thought we were all good anyway.
very happy to have my OG. all very cooperative and

i hope that we'll all still keep in contact.

oh, went to the doctor and she helped change my wound
bandage (violently..) , gave me antibiotics and ointment
and i was charged.. $60. WAHHHH. damn wtf. i cried my ass off.

OGL dry run was FUN!!!!
made new friends (kinda), got a tan (yes, one shade

reached in the morning and saw familiar faces.
the psych people and some comms people (naomi's clique).
was late for briefing. and omg, the theme was superheroes.

went ulu pandan campus and that's when fun and games started.

or even qualify for some of them but just look at our

athletes to be top notch right?

anyway, i doubt our country has such high aims to get
tops in all categories right? i think their main point is
to prove that singapore is able conduct an important
event successfully and that other nations should not look
down on a small country. right?

AND I THINK MERLY AND LYO IS CUTE OK!!
(although they're FREAKING expensive).

and singapore received its FIRST silver medal from

today was PICNIC @ MARINA BARRAGE DAY
with the UB people (the psych kids..)

barbarella naoms was late so i emo-ed around PS
on my own. bumped into evelyn and we went on
our shopping adventure at carrefour. soon the rest
came and off we went to marina bay (still have no idea
why we met at dhoby..)

asyraf joined us halfway and we started our marina
barrage picnic. no food for me cos i was fasting.
and it was awkward cos me and naoms didn't know
anyone there. lol. cos ian invited us and it was bad to
reject. HEH. so me, naoms and evelyn went on an adventure
of our own..

hello.

i was happy but then now i'm pissed.
affected by stupid small things. ok, i shall talk about
that later i think. i shall now talk about.. what happened
during the past few days.

1) I GOT A FOR ESL!!
YEAH BABY!!!! so happy :D i expected A- but an A is
awesome. lesson learnt: SUCK UP!! :D no lah, it's consistent
work i guess? must be my class participation :D

2) I SLEEPWALKED!!!
it was late at night and i THINK i woke up due to my
whatsapp message tone (which is the PING PING sound,
very microwave oven-like). so i woke up and went to my
house door, opened it, looked out and walked back to bed.
surprisingly, i was able to remember what i did...

is that considered sleepwalking?? and the thing is, my
mum witnessed the whole incident. HAHAHAh. now she's
looking out for me, in case i walk out of my house and buy
mcdonalds. HAHAHA.

3) I WATCHED THE YOG OPENING CEREMONY FIREWORKS!!
it was AWESOME i swear. the fireworks made me feel very
patriotic. and the skyline was just beautiful, very picturesque.
i love the part where the dragon suddenly appeared out of
nowhere, accompanied by boats which were lit up and paddled
by dragonboaters. DAMN DRAMA!!!

just got back my results and it was SHITTY

B for COMMS, B for Soci and B for MUSIC.

I AM SO TIRED.

i've been out since like uhm, noon until 10+.
WAH, walked all the way from bugis to city hall etc.
thong seng was closed. so we couldn't eat there ):

2) I FINISHED MY EXAMS = 3 WEEKS OF BREAK!!!
3) I GOT 82 FOR MY COMMS BLOG. :D :D i can be a celebrity blogger i swear.

MWAHAHAHAH ok whatever. i'm just high and tired.
since i've turned 21, i've done so many things that i've never done before,
i received so many different presents and i've been enjoying myself a lot.

i would like to thank all my friends for being there for me when i need them
(and when i don't). well, i'm 21 now and i should be more mature. i should
learn to be more independent and not take things for granted. some things
are meant to be cherished and some should jut be thrown away.

i need to slow down and absorb everything slowly.
until now, i'm still finding love. well, thing is. i can't find any.
i'm just the friendly type i guess. more hang out buddy than boyfriend type.

so over that stage and now i'm just cherishing whatever i have.
seems like my moral boundaries has slowly been expanding. hmmm..

and i'm still finding the random stranger that talked to me that night.
maybe it's just an illusion? oh, life is but a dream. thanks for brightening

this blog is semi-dead, save for my random updates.

well, basically my life revolves around school. lessons and
more lessons. school's hectic and i just joined floorball. first
training was kinda fun but tiring. backache yo. i hope i'll
stay long in that cca although the freshies look SO intimidating
can? the seniors are very nice. familiar faces and all :D

oh sighs i don't know.

got back soci paper yesterday and i was SO depressed.
my grades dropped a lot. from 17/20 to 12/20. WAOWZ.
such a great difference seriously. open book test somemore. i think
i'm a failure cos of this. SIGHS. went out with the ARMY BOYZ
yesterday. so much fun. i miss them. we went to MARINA BAY SANDS
and i think it's gorgeous. so grand and full of.. grandeur and opulence.

it doesn't look singapore please. feels very airport and overseas like.
the helix looks romantic. if only i had someone to walk there with me.
that shall be another story. anyway, suang's back for good and bryan's
leaving. the next time we meet will be DECEMBER or smtng ):
nvm time will fly and soon we'll be working adults.

ESL lessons are over and so is music. i really liked those lessons because
they are enjoyable and have allowed me to interact with others
beyond my clique. thanks to those two lessons i'm friend with
awesome people like jasrin and sarah, talking about galloping
horses and random gossips. SIGHS!! nvm, pizza hut + mugging
outing next thurs :D :D

today.. i tried to sleep but the stupid neighbour upstairs was busy
drilling the house. knnbccb. I CAN'T EVEN SLEEP PLEASE!!!
so much for waking up at 1pm ): anyway, was ALMOST late for
comms class. it's so funny cos hui kam lin knows my name now.

today was an effed up presentation day.

i've a very fun ESL group. the people are hilarious and
we did on gay rights. totally shocked by all the gay-lebrities
that we found. HAHAHAH. other groups did on stem cell
research, sex education and casinos. freaking hilarious.

the last time i updated was LAST MONTH!!
and omg, how things have changed.
everyday starts with a brand new drama.

comms project, soci tests etc. it's been a whirlwind for a
first semester. yes my life revolves around assignments
and i've no life. seriously. it's all about school. and i don't
even hang out with my school mates. SCHOOL IS TOO FAR
AWAY. I SPEND MY TIME AND MONEY TRAVELLING.

oh speaking of travelling, today something funny happened to me.
i was sleeping on the train and when i woke up, i saw my soci
lecturer in front of me. HAHAHAHA. and we chatted all the way
till school. LOL SO UNGLAM, she saw me sleeping and not
revising for her test. market value just drop yo. she gave
me consultation on the train.

AND we had fall bidding sessions. i got the same as most of
the people but some will be separated. wahlao so kiasu
in the end get weird classes also. ): and i got B+ for esl mid-terms
(SO BELOW EXPECTATIONS), B- for comms ): MY MAJOR LEY.
bloody HKL. and etc.

today's such an AWESOME DAY!!!!
so unexpectedly great!!!

morning was music and i was so worried about
me failing music cos..

1) i wasn't sure whether my presentation was today
or not.. AND
2) i didn't get the acknowledgment email whether my
music essay has been received or not.

but thank god my presentation wasn't today AND
my essay was received. :D :D and oh, i made a few friends
during music today HAHAHAH. so random please. they
were all nice and lihwei's jc mates. HAHAH. and i bumped
into this tpjc girl but i forgot her name can...
she was like "QAZIM!!!" and i was like "HEY.. tpjc right!"

LOL. paiseh. ok anyway, i went to megabites to buy sandwich and
the auntie called me "shuai ge" leh HAHAHA damn funny.
i think she was trying to increase sales of her sandwich.
ANYWAY, i bought the BEAST SHOWCASE TIX from
gabby's friend.

out with them a bit. made them go toilet with me also HAHAHA.

my ticket with another guy at row... 17 (i row 7 lo) cos i wanted
to accompany alex who was at row 17. sighs things friends do for friends.

LOL. anyway, after ages... (we were there at 3), we watched the show.
OMG THEY SAID 2 SONGS LAH. BUT GOT SO MANY!!!!!!
new found respect for them cos they sing AND dance damn nice.
NOT lip sync lo. and yoseob DAMN FUNNY!!!! like small kid please.
and kui jien (host) was like a huge kid also. he really knows how
to work out a crowd. i can't believe he's a DAD!! ok.

anyway, beast was awesome!!!!!!!! i really had fun. first was their
showcase.... and then ENCORE... and then the shooting for the
ENTERTAINMENT ON 5. WAH TRIPLE DOSAGE LEH!!!
hahah damn worth it for 25bucks!! BUT MY POSITION SUCKS,
KENA BLOCKED BY LIGHTS.

and some girl got serenaded, another was blindfolded and had to
choose which was her favourite idol's hands. HAHAH funny sia.

hello.

yesterday meiling accompanied me to school.
:D :D yay to gossip sessions. i miss her ever since
she pangseh-ed us that day for soccer @ simpang.

ok anyway, soci was fun. i didn't regret not skipping.
cos we had social experiment about defiance so our
clique went to the atrium and ambushed people and
sang stupid songs around them. HAHAH DAMN FUNNY.

another group gathered in two rows at the entrance
and started clapping whenever someone walked pass.
and there was this cute boy who walked pass them and
he was so amused. LOL. like marathon. his father
was at one corner and he started running towards his
father. like.. so drama can??

after school was.. waffles @ makanplace. whoots.

today was.. omg MCQ WAS KILLER. i made so many
mistakes. i think i'll just be thankful if i pass.

today, i went to changi airport to send my
granny and aunt off. they were on a holiday to..
some part of aussie. cool shit. i also want to go ):

omg.

i am too busy doing my 3 commercial articles that
i forgot to blog. i spent my friday in town with the UB
people. the bus was filled with the comms people please.
crystal and gang and also us (sorry haven't found a name
for our clique yet. i don't even know who's in our freaking
clique). damn noisy i swear. HAHAH damn discreet 101

ok, anyway, people there were me, hans, vanessa, asyraf,
nikki, yolanda and kimy. pastamania for lunch and i felt

the portion seems smaller compared to the
last time i visited that place. the service was.. slow.

life's good. had only socio lesson today.
and it was fun of course. our teacher's laugh
is very infectious. anyway, some of our lecturers
taught in NUS and NTU before so we can't really
say that the quality of education in UB is inferior right?

different theories and all. our lecturer's laugh is infectious.

hello.

today was music lesson.
ok learned new things. it's surprising that i'm
starting to like music lessons now. i have never
had any interest in tunes, chords and all that
rubbish. i hope the music lesson will spark some
passion in me i guess. to know more about the
different type of music.

you know, the type of teacher you get plays
a part in your education. our teacher seems very
passionate in what he's teaching and is very lively
and interactive. he knows how to keep the student's
attention and make sure they understand. well,
at least i learned some life lessons. hmm.. i need to
work on my journal. =/

AND OMG MY NAME WASN'T ON THE CLASS LIST.
WTF. but the teacher remembers me. so i hope hope
my name will be on the list next lesson. omg. or else..
i wouldn't know what to do. wtf.

makanplace for breakfast. and omg. we were SO SMART.
the we were on the third floor and we wanted to get to the
first floor... but the lift was so full everytime it reached the
third floor. so we decided to take the lift UP and we realised
it went all the way to the NINTH FLOOR. HAHAHAHA.

and i ate some random rice and i got TWO HUGE ASS STEROID
CHICKENS (no wonder now so fat.) ok then we rushed back

mei (BOTH LATE). the bus ride was safe (nowadays public
transport so dangerous) and comfortable (fell asleep even
with aircon dripping) and fast (i was still early...)

ended up reading notes on MUSICKING (almost died) and
played some spelling games. i need to make an effort to improve
my english please!!! ANYWAY, after gazzillion years,
fae and mei reached. WOW. and we kbox-ed all the way
till 5++++. HAHAHAHAHA.

WAS DAMN FUN. tried to sing korean songs (a.k.a only
the english words. like.. HEARTBEAT. tik tok tik tok. and
